Okay.... so when it comes to activities that would help me find a GF/get laid (for example, going to the gym, self-grooming, bettering my career, socialising etc), I have no problem being motivated to do it. In fact, if anything, I'm perhaps overdoing it!

But, when it comes to activities that are not strongly enough related to having a GF/getting laid, I have no motiviation whatsoever to do them! (For example, reading (other than studies), learning the piano, gardening, etc) I sometimes read and have been watching some Piano tutorials on YouTube, but I find myself not interested in doing them after a short while.

This has been like this ever since around 2010/2011 - around the same time as my PMO escalating and my depression getting worse. So it tells me it's possibly related.

My hunch is that once I get rid of that monkey off my back (not having a GF or being a virgin), I might become more motivated to do other things. I just find it unnatural, for an older virgin now, that I should be doing other things (ie, gardening or learning a hobbie) while I'm stuck in this condition - a condition that I should have sorted out two decades ago (which is to discover the opposite sex).

Can anyone tell me if I'm truey motivated or not?

A large portion of the things we do have something to do with us getting laid, directly or indirectly. This does NOT mean you should only do something only if sex is seen as a possible return.

As for this, why is getting sex your "hunch". If it's peer pressure then bear in mind, half of the guys lie about their virginity and what they do with their girlfriends. Also, by older virgin, most guys in India, China and the rest of the eastern countries lose their virginity after 21 or 25 years of age so if you're older I'd suggest getting married first.

Get that piano routine done, put your life in order and you'll get girls just fine. It's not even a matter of looks, just confidence and how well you can back it up. Remember, girls can see through any bullshit you throw at them

It's because I'm finding it hard to enjoy other things when I've missed out on the most enjoyable thing (that's also natural human behaviour). For an older guy anyway. When I was younger, I was bothered about being a virgin but it didn't stop me from enjoying other things in life.

I don't care about peer pressure, it's just that time is running out and I'm missing out on the fun. Also my biological clock comes into play.

    I'm 36, btw.
