Almost 2200 days (six years) CLEAN

Really inspiring to read this and to know that long-term abstinence is possible. One of my friends in another recovery program always jokes with folks on their anniversaries/birthdays: "Congrats on 6 years! I have it on good authority that the 7th year is the hardest, so keep coming back!"

6 Years mark, I am already seeing myself hitting that mark 6 years from now, after all, I have put my mindset to move on from this activity. Congratulation for big victory. 6 years its big success. I am also working to break this habit for life time (specific time is 10 years), I know abstaining from these habits completely for life time seems over ambitious goal but that's how i live, I am extremely ambitious person when I find something that is really important for me I fight for it until I get no matter what. I am 22 years old and I'm virgin,( I don't have plan to get married, may be after 8 or 10 years I get married and yes I will have sex with my wife after marries.)
Thanks for shaking my false believe about porn and masturbation that's its not possible to abstain from these habits such as 6,7 years old. Keep on updating us about your success because you are leader for those people who want abstain from these habits for longer time such 6,10 or even life time free from Masturbation and porn.

For those who want to abstain for longer period of time:
Never lower your arm keep on fighting until you reach. Be a warrior. Indure the pain, if you fail its ok stand up again and start again until you win the battle.

 

Jfromer....good job....I can see that there are no long term effects from abstinence ....it is my goal to stop all of the above, but if my wife wants sex....she is 67. Had hysterectomy about 15 years ago....that's when the sex stopped....but maybe she might want it if I refrain for a long time.....anyway, it will be great either way, because the benefits out way the ( I can't think of the word)....
