I'm at day 5. It's currently 2:30 in the morning. As of now I have no urges but I know they are bound to come later on down the line. An tips on when I do? I found myself fantasizing about porn whenever I get any inclination to fap, and it ceases to go away even when I'm occupied playing games or listening to aggressive music etc. Any advice for future reference is much appreciated

My advice would be to practice meditation. That really helps you learn how to control your thoughts and also how not to be bothered when certain thoughts pop up.

When you have urges, come online and read anything you can find on this site. It really helps.
    Be strong.

Personally I have self-control problems when it comes to resisting watching porn. To make that easier I installed K9 Web Protection to block all adult content. It's free and what I did was make a long password of random letters and numbers, texted it to a friend just in case, and then deleted the text so that I wouldn't remember the password. I also downloaded Porn Blocker on my iPhone that costs $8 on app store. You might be able to find something free but in the long run I think it's worth it. I had a friend put a passcode on it so that I can't disable it too.

Maybe check out the Fortify program by Fight the New Drug.

Also, the Art of Manliness blog has an article called "How to Quit Porn" that goes further into what the rebooting process is and how to resist urges.

Lastly, I'd like you to seek a higher power that you know cares and loves for you and can give meaning to your life. Accountability partners can help as well. The main point is just to continue to be pro-active in your journey to freedom. Last night I had an urge but I relieved it by solving a rubik's cube (all my mental effort went to solving the cube so that my mind couldn't focus on the urge).

I have Windows 10 Home edition in my pc and K9 works well...
But the problem is that also K9 Web Protection can be easily uninstalled: just search with Google and there are many ways to disable it (I've learned them now and I can uninstall it in minutes, it's enough booting pc in safe mode and change some keys in Regedit that a search on Google clearly indicates).
So, I'm still looking for a really undeletable program...

Okay now this might sound weird but it works, next time you have urges try using an ice pack. Just place it on your junk simple. No joke it works

Cold showers, ice...The goal is to turn off a too strong impulse, but possibly without self destroying or torturing :emoji_scream:

Right now my advice to you would be to not stay up to 2:30, and get off your computer at 7:00pm.

Listening to aggressive music at 2:30 will not help you to relax and sleep, but will keep you energized, even if probably you do it to let off the steam that would drive you to look at porn...

I will try, thanks, even if it seems that Qustodio requires the creation of various accounts and in practice I should ... make the parent of myself! But I will deepen, I admit I do not know it enough

In fact, the problem is this: I have to create an account for the person I want to control, but I am creating it myself ... So I could get round the block easily by logging in with an administrator account. I also thought about creating directly a limited account and getting in only and always with that one, but if I have to install some program, make changes or operations on my computer, how will I do? I don't have anyone else in the family who knows how to use well the pc, so it would be like locking myself in a room and throw away the key: an effective way to prevent porn, but that can create big problems and perhaps getting my pc unusable...
There should be a program that doesn't involve the creation of multiple accounts but, regardless for who the pc user is, blocks certain sites. That's the work done by K9 or Kaspersky's Parental Control ... but they can be uninstalled by messing a bit with pc!

Not entirely, you need password in order to uninstall K9 so unless you know the password its not easy. You can tell your confidante to keep the password for you.
But pal I got around K9 and I am no hacker, funny how our mind works.

I'm right: you don't need to be a hacker to disable K9. On line you can find a lot of sites that explain how to uninstall K9 without password and explain it so clearly and step - by - step that anyone, even the silliest guy on earth, can follow the instructions and do it quite easily.
And anyway, where there's a will, there's a way: if you want at all costs to circumvent a block, even if you're not a hacker, in a way you will become... ;)
