    Ok so I relapsed. Again.

I'll be starting a new streak soon. But before having my mind blurred either by urges or the high of abstinence, I wanna pause and think, assess where I am right now.

Truth is, maybe I didn't take it seriously enough. That's mainly because my symptoms are not serious themselves: I don't have PIED, nor social anxiety, I'm doing quite well with my studies too. But still, that I can't stay three month PMO free is worrying.
Maybe I am an addict after all...

    "I am an addict."
Even though it's not pleasant to hear, I find this statement... motivating. If I am an addict, this community is tailored to people like me, I can actually get the best help I can hope for right here. I just have to dive in !
Just follow the advice to start a journal, an accountability partner, participate in the forums... Embrace the challenge, the fight, the pain.
There is no more denial, no excuses, no "this piece of advice is for real addicts, not me" BS to prevent me from attaining my newly crystal clear goals: I wanna break free from my addiction.
    I'm lucid now.

And I'm gonna rock this shit.

[I hope some of you can relate. Have you denied being an addict for some time? Did acknowledging your addiction help you in some way?

Maybe you're just "giving NoFap a try". If so, please consider your situation the most honestly you can: maybe it's worse than you first thought, maybe it's not that bad... Whatever you come up with, feel free to share :)]

Acceptance is a powerful tool. It's paving the way to accepting help, advices, seeking further knowledge on the subject....etc.

Go on YOURBRAINONPORN.COM and watch videos..you'll learn a lot...knowledge is powa!

    Couldn't have said it better.
I'll spend some more time on yourbrainonporn. Maybe I can try to relate more to it's content and build more motivation.

    Hey guys,
I think my addiction is not that bad. My habit was to do it once a week and only with pictures and no videos. And now I want to break completely free, get away from the pictures as well. As part of gaining more self control I also committed to hard mode.
The best motivation to break an addiction is to acknowledge how you suffer from it and how it influences your life in a really bad way. Knowledge is real power because once you know that you damage yourself it´s so much easier to stay away from it - just like smoking.

    Have a great day !
