Hello, I have only recently discovered this community and am quite new to the concept of rebooting, however I think it is fantastic idea and I'm doing a reboot right now. My question is whether people on here are happily having sex during a 90 day reboot period, or are you also abstaining from sex? If the latter, if you are dating, how to you navigate dating someone without sleeping with them? I'd be interested to hear from those who abstain from dating altogether during a reboot too. I have two minds about this: A) that sex/dating during a reboot will probably act as a bit of trigger to return to masturbation, verses.. B) isn't the whole point of this journey to get away from the virtual and into (pardon the pun) real women, so don't deny yourself the goal. Looking forward to hearing people's thoughts! Thanks
In my case, I started NoFap while on a relationship, so for me it was no PM. But I still had to "do things" with my girlfriend. A true powerful reboot must eliminate everything. Porn, masturbation and sex. However, as you state in your second point of view, if your dysfunctions are caused by porn, or your objective is to quit watching porn, having sexual encounters with real women is totally healthy and what actually must be sought (to go from the screen to real life). Summing up, just stop PM and experience real life sex, but be aware that the recovery probably won't be optimal and will last longer than if you didn't have sex.
