So far I'm doing worse than last month. I relapsed 6 times including today. One of the reasons is because I got promoted for a new position at my workplace. I was barely working there for 3 months, and my staff greatly encouraged me to take on this new role, as they've mentioned I would be a great assent to one of their departments.

Unfortunately, I've been PMOing like crazy. I'm stressed out, and I'm trying my best to hang in there. Also, another huge problem is that I work at a Walmart superstore, and apparently, there are young female customers left and right. This is causing me more anxiety and stress as well. This is my first time being promoted in such a short period of time. On the other hand, I will do my best to make it through the rest of the month. Also, has anyone ever went through this before?

Today (or tomorrow) as appropriate is a new day. Getting a promotion, especially one quickly earned can be very stressful. I would recommend looking up some helpful ways to relieve stress. Everyone needs stress relief, and PMO certainly was one of my go-tos. As for the customers, try to block thoughts of objectifying them when you see them. I would suggest they are beautiful human beings, not just sexual objects. When you catch yourself looking (or staring), intentionally think of something, anything else. It will get easier in time. Assuming you are talking about young females of legal age, when you are off the clock, there theoretically would be nothing wrong with getting to know them and possibly try to arrange to see them at a bar or somthing, if that's something you're willing to do. If it's not, then find ways to work with your anxiety. If you constantly deal with Stress and anxiety problems, getting counseling, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) may be helpful.

I appreciate your advice man. I'm trying to de-stress myself the best way I can. And for now, being surrounded by plants is my best solution. I feel comfortable and at ease when I'm around them. Since it's getting warmer from where I live ( the New England area) I can try doing activities outdoors now. However, for the female customers, it's hard not to think of them sexually. But then again, it's a workplace/superstore, so you gotta be careful. I'm not in the position for dating right now, because I have bigger goals in mind; however it's definitely something I might consider in the long run. Anyway, I do appreciate your help and support. Thanks.

It's absolutely difficult. The Porn helped hardwire it. As soon as you catch yourself look away. If you are religious, say a prayer. If you're not, you can thought stop by other techniques, such as sports statistics, the fibonachi sequence, reciting Pi, etc. You chose to end porn, so theoretically, choosing to look away should be easier. These are mutually inclusive goals and both will help you feel better about yourself.
