I see people use the word "though" (usually in the "tho" form) on the Internet in some places that is not understandable for me.

I've looked up "though" in many dictionaries and all of the meanings are something close to:
    However, despite, but, etc.

In all cases, it's been described as a word used when you wanna say something against what you just said or against what others think you'd say:

It's hard work. I enjoy it though.
The drinks were expensive, tho' the cocktail selection was good.
I didn't think season two was as good as season one. Still good, tho.
though they know the war is lost, they continue to fight.
though I may fail, I will try.
But I see many people use tho in other cases too. Like wherever they want. When just describing something, they add a "tho" at the end! When they ask something they add a "tho" at the end. Not understandable for me.

    What's the deal?
