    My dad is like that, although he has little to do with India. So fucking annoying. It made me feel like I had to lie to him and disturbed our relationship. Sure he got a point, but there are better ways to say it.
    The right thing to do in my opinion is to tell them you don't want to talk about it and it is your and only your business. Not that it would have stopped my dad, but it reduced it to an acceptable level.
    I bet that is hard to do for a soft-mannered Indian guy though.

    I was born in america but grew up in a partially indian family. No matter what I did it was never good enough and most other Indians piss me off now.
