Before I share the method I would like to say that this is no magic trick. It may not be easy and emotionally comfortable but it works. First you must realise that you are not naturally horny. Your sex drive is not as high as you may believe. You are horny because you are either sedentry or have an unoccupied mind; usually a combination of more than one. In this state you are very vulnerable to triggers. Whenever you become tempted you must stand up and engage in an activity that will occupy your mind. It can be something boring, whatever keeps you busy. I find washing up to work very well for me. Sooner or later you will find yourself in a non aroused state. It may be uncomfortable to get up and occupy the brain but it is very important to leave the temptation as soon as it arrives. Whenever I break this simple principle I begin contemplating relapse and eventually giving in.
I do this all the time! Once your mind if occupied your brain can't focus on the task and think about porn at the same time. If the task you are doing requires attention and alertness, your mind will automatically becomes involved in the task and urges become weak although it can be difficult as your mind likes urges.
I bought a motorcycle just to keep me occupied. Couple of hours twisting country roads distracts thoughts away from anything sexual.
Agreed, hobbies and habits are fundamental for doing PMO. In our journey, we will certainly encounter overwhelming hard urges; they are inevitable. That's why we are supposed to occupy our time with habits and hobbies.
