A good serie without triggers?

The Following is really good. A friend of mine said he found a few scenes triggering, but it's pretty mild stuff and only occasionally in the later seasons.

Also, in my opinion, Doctor Who is the greatest show ever to be written on television. And it's very family friendly. My 4 and 6 year old nephews love it even.

Parks and Recreation is a pretty trigger-free comedy. Not a lot of sexuality on that show, and it's hilarious. Brooklyn 99 is another good comedy that is pretty trigger free.

I don't know if you're looking more for current stuff, but if you just want a good show to binge on, Monk and Psych are two of my old favorites, both sex-free.

Supernatural, The Office, Stranger Things (Netflix only), The Walking Dead, Chuck.

I get what you mean. I started watching American Horror Story before I started NoFap and haven't been able to go back to it as I think that it would be far too triggering. Even though I can see brief sex scenes in movies now I still prefer not to and they are actually pretty graphic in that series. I do worry about starting a new series for that reason so I've actually started watching more documentaries now.

For recommendations, I love Sherlock. There are only 10 episodes (but all film length) and if you are into detective drama it really does not get much better. The only slightly triggering episode I can think of would be the first episode of series 2 (A Scandal In Belgravia), just because of some very mild nudity and references. The censors thought that it was suitable for 12 year olds and I wouldn't find it triggering but it depends on you. It's a great episode if you can handle that though.

If you are a bit of a fantasy/fairy tale fan like me then you can try Once Upon A Time. It's very clever how they manage to weave all the different fairy tale stories together. It's made by Disney so there really is nothing triggering there at all!

For a good comedy check out Arrested Development. It's absolutely hilarious! There are a few sex jokes but nothing really triggering.

 

Modern Family is one I forgot to mention.

Also, if you're okay with some sexual humor and comments, but just wanting something without nudity, I would highly recommend Friends and How I Met Your Mother.

 

If you're into detective shows, you should try check out Murder She Wrote. An "old-lady-murder-magnet" classic!

Also I second Sherlock. And sort of related, but it deals with medical mysteries instead of murder mysteries: House.

If you are into sitcoms you might try Scrubs.

The Flash, 24, Prisonbreak.

 

Game of Thrones is a No-Go then. I liked the Walking Dead (zombie/horror) also Suits, a very good series about successful lawyers.

Though there is nothing wrong with watching stuff from time to time I would recommend living the life you want to see instead of watching others do it on a screen.

 

OP - Quickly watch The Following. Kevin Bacon f*cked me up with how good an actor he is. A great show (on Netflix.)

Alright. There is one series that was good too. SUUUPPPEEERR old but it's decent. Friends.
