I was looking over some of my old notes and came across this. It comes from the early temperance movement before the Civil War, and it represents the opinion of many people on alcohol consumption during that time. More importantly, this pretty much relates to all of us if you replace the language in steps 1-5 with something PMO related. Steps 6 through 9 are essentially the same if we don't kick this addiction.
