4 years sober but still struggling

You've done a brilliant job staying sober, abstaining from acting on your addiction and impulses. Massive respect to you for that!

However, not to be that guy, but "abstinence isn't recovery." If you are still having these feelings, perhaps the reason why you (originally) turned to porn hasn't actually been dealt with? The way the world is right now, I wouldn't be surprised if it's some seriously bad anxiety issues.

Keep up the good work you're doing, and try to seek some professional help, targeted at the way you feel. Maybe a doctor or a therapist can help you "zone in" on what the root cause of all this is.
