    Keep on it friend.

I started feeling results at the fourth month or so.

Now I have been 280 days clean and I know I am not fully recovered yet.

Think in all the shit you have been feeding your brain with during years and years. It is normal to give it time to recover.

I am in the same boat as you. It has been 49? days for me and I really don't feel different. If anything I have less energy then when I quit. I going to keep pushing through because of all the good things I have read on this site from other people. You should too- many others say benefits will come we just need to wait.

  7. I've been PMO free since late last month. Since then. I've joined a boxing gym, gone to the dentist for the first time in years, and also joined the local writing group.

Sure, it's no big deal, but these were activities I had either never done before or put off for a long time. I've also been invited to hang out by new friends, which almost never happened as a child.

I'm not claiming this was due to Nofap per se, but the last time I did a 30-day streak (back in 2017), I had nothing going on, and so returned to PMO out of sheer boredom.

What sort of activities do you do? Maybe that help if you haven't taken on anything. Are you willing to talk about it? You could PM me if you like.

What else are you doing to change besides no porn? The growth or recovery here is when we make positive changes in our life with the extra time we now have since we don't watch porn.
My changes have been: Going to the gym, joining social clubs to get me out of the house, more focus on my career, trying to MO less in order to save it for when I have sex with my wife. Best of all - Building intimacy with my wife for a healthy sex life and a more loving marriage.

  9. I didn't know you were married.

Still, I'm doing the exact same thing with my own life (minus the wife part). One good thing about giving up PMO is that you get a lot of time back, since normally we'd waste so much trying to get more PMO into our schedule. I can definitely vouch for this.

My energy level was low in the first 20 or so days, I think it was probably because my brain missed the dopamine and my emotions were high.
Now that I have been PMO free for about 90-days with one relapse around day 52 I have my energy back, plus the brain fog has lifted.
Start doing things that will give you energy: Get enough sleep, eat healthy food, work out at a gym, go for a hike, keep the body moving anyway you can, socialize, these are the things that give us a better life.

Wasted soooo much time with PMO, literally hours of my day, almost every day. It was no wonder that I found myself leading a crappy, isolated life, with very little to distract me except running to the computer every time I was alone to watch porn. I'm very glad that life is over and I can make the best of the years ahead.

It’s a little bit hard for me, I’m watching porn since 15 years und u can Image it how it’s effect on my days and on my behave.. the most things am suffering it’s social Phobie, Shy, soft, passive, I often feel like I'm being watched, I can't make friends and etc… so I just asking myself if could this all from pron but I don’t know I just looking for the reasons

  13. Porn will definitely affect your self esteem, as it did mine. For many years, making friends was hard. However, I found that one thing that could help is to identify what situations would make you shy/nervous, and then find tailor-made means to try and overcome those anxieties. For example, I've been a weakling for most of my life, so I joined a boxing gym last week.

Maybe we could discuss some things that might work? You can PM me if you like.

Since I haven't had as long a cleanse from porn as you have in the last 13 years, you are a positive example to me. Thank you!
