Usually I have at least one wet dream a month.

  2. I haven't had a wet dream in six months of total abstinence from orgasm. At first, I was disappointed, but I'm slowly coming to see it as a victory of sorts. I think the mind that obsesses over the missing element will tend to stimulate the subconscious cycle that puts the wet dream in motion. It's just a theory, and I might be wrong, but the last time that I had a wet dream it seemed to follow some sexual thoughts/fantasies that I had had the day before. I have tried to avoid such fantasies in the period following that. I think there are a number of factors that enter the equation, another one being one's diet, another one's age. Essentially, anything that stimulates the passions might create a further need in that direction, one for which the body may find outlet in your sleep.
