    Hi everyone,

It took me a long time to admit to myself that I had a problem with PMO. I've been trying to reboot on my own for nearly three years now. It's taken me this long to admit that if I've got this much trouble kicking this habit, it may just be an addiction. My last relapse was a PMO binge. PMO has been getting in the way of what I want to do with myself and with my life and I'm done letting it be an obstacle to my goals. Yesterday was the last time. Now, I want to reboot at the very least. I want to go a year without PMO in my life and if things go better for me, I want to quit porn for good. If the numerous ways in which I have failed have taught me anything about what I need to succeed in this endeavor, it's this: I need a full reboot. I'm going for monk mode. No PMO, no browsing social media, a five second rule to thoughts that can turn into triggers. Failing a lot over three years has also taught me I need to keep busy. I decided to learn a new language (Japanese), to exercize and read more. I'll also try to dedicate more time to meditation. I'll see what else kicking PMO gives me time to do. I'll keep a diary of how I feel along this journey and I'll welcome whatever changes occur no matter how small. I welcome any tips, advice you may have. Best wishes to all of you on your own journeys.
