@Haddock ... Also keep in mind that you're only 14, a lot of these guys are older and have families/work/uni and other things going on so may not have the time to complete any challenges.

  2. Yeah I know that there are a lot of older people on here that have more responsibilities than I, but that's why it is an optional part. Also I'm 15 in 3 days.

I used the opening page so that it is easy to implement. And I left the method of joining hardcore mode open so you could decide how people join that. Feel free to edit and remove things if you wish.

@Haddock ... This isn't why @Human Lab-Rat created this challenge and it's not why I'm continuing it for him. It's not about competing with others. We are here to help each other defeat PMO addiction, what else people do to improve their life is completely up to them. If you feel you want to create another challenge then feel free as long as nothing from this thread is used. You have the wrong idea of what NoFap is about though. The only reason I have a participant list is to track who is in the challenge and put them on the successful list when they finish. It's about competing with yourself, not other participants.

  5. Yeah, but it is a goal to shoot for, and think of how good that will be for the body, I mean really think about it. If not even the marines do that many, wouldn't that make someone who does do that many more hardcore than the marines in that aspect?

  6. I completely get that, and I do realize that it is not about competing with others. I'm not even a very competitive person in the first place. But I feel like if someone is going to try to free themselves from addiction, and become a better version of themselves, then why don't they become the best damn version of themselves they can be?

No it wouldn't be good, I've been going to the gym for 6 years and am an experienced lifter. It's overkill and would do more harm than good. Not many people in the world could do that many pull ups or push ups.

  8. Since you have more experience, and you are a trustyworthy source, I won't argue on that like a spoiled child who doesn't know when to shut up (even though I don't know when to shut up).

Yeah you're right but they should be setting challenges and goals for themselves. They should be like reyt I'm going to hit the gym 4 times a week, start eating healthy, get out of the house more. Whatever they feel they are capable off. NoFap is just a start to improving your life and that's what this challenge is for. 180 days no PM and doing as much things as you can do to improve during that time. I mean I couldn't do all those on your list, I'm in library all day tomorrow and Friday then I'm working away all weekend, then I have to pack to move in my new room at student accommodation then I'm away for a full week so definitely too busy for it.

Dude, it's great that you're trying to improve your life at such a young age but you should be focusing more on having fun and enjoying your teen years. All you need to focus on is getting rid of porn and masturbation and if you want to improve by other methods then go for it.

  11. I tend to take things a bit to far in what I do. When I am not super depressed, and I mean real depression, I am an extremely driven person. I usually end up even making me tired of me! So sorry about showing up, and immediately trying to change things. When an idea pops into my head I get very excited and just run with it, regardless of whether I'm acting like an ass or not (which is probably the case.) I want to be a better person though so once again, sorry about that.

Edit: Not trying to sound depressed, just wanted to apologize

Dude it's probably not depression, it will be your hormones. I was the same when I was 14, constantly moody and feeling depressed. It's cool, just focus on getting PM out your life and any other challenges you have, do them. If you see any benefit from them then add them here so others can decide whether to try it. Now is the best time to beat the addiction, don't make the mistake most of us have made and let it go on for so long whilst justifying that there is nothing wrong with it when there is.

  13. I can agree with that! My reason for joining nofap is 2 things. First, I want to be able to look my parents in the eyes without a trace of guilt on my conscience. Second, and most importantly, when I think of myself, I want to be happy with the person I am.

For COLD SHOWERS lovers: try hot&cold alternating showers. These build your 'nervous force' if I remember it's name right. And it has, thus tremenduous more benefits more psyche/willpower and health improvement!.

Here's a lit more on this story. You can train the nervous force in your nervous system by taking a rod or something as such in your hand and grip. Just hold the hand there no tension, just hold the hand in grip same with the object in hand. Hand not resting on anything. And over the course of one loooong and slow minute smoothly grip the object from no tension to full tension/full force grip on the object.

You can't even do it. Be honest to yourself. You do not have that much sensitivty over your nerves nor control as you will likely end up adding big amounts of tension unwantingly at times. This is the exact same thing to jerking the pedals while learnig to drive.

This is called nervous force and it does amazing things towards building your confidence and calmness in your body while also giving your control over your limbs and individuals muscles.

Anyway, start cold and end cold with the hot&cold showers. You want to simulate bathing in freezing russian winter lake and then going into a sauna and alternating the two :) Of course, if you want to sip one little bottle of Vodka as well, save it for after the shower for safety reasons... : ))

One cool way to think of it is the W like shaped northen constellation Cassiopeia. 5 rounds, top peaks are cold, bottom peaks are hot (not boiling, just hot enough to cool your raging blood under the skin).
