Hello, I'm 17 and I'm in high school. For some time now I've been relapsing into my porn addiction, which I'd kicked for about 6 months. It's hard to restrain myself and I go to the gym a lot to get rid of this urge but it's catching up with me. I've never had a girlfriend and I'm afraid of losing my youth because I've never had a girlfriend. I feel weak but I'm motivated to stop completely, I tell myself that this addiction is wrong but that I need it sometimes because I have too much testosterone, but I know it's wrong, it's horrible, it follows me.
    Advices please

this is the age i discovered Internet p. And then from this age and another 17 years going forward i lost my youth to it. You are young and if there’s anything i can do to help I’d like to ask, what type of phone do you have?
One of the most important things to prevent pmo relapse is to stay busy. But if you don’t and you are alone when you watch p, the mind attacks. A idle mind is prone to addiction. Staying busy counter attacks pmo thoughts and desires to act out.

secondly, safety filters are very important. 80% of the addiction is eliminated by putting safety filters in place. This prevents random access to pmo on your devices. Do not ever remove your safety filters or you will relapse. Filters can be applied on your phone or the computer.

at 17, for me all it took was a glimpse on Google of a woman and my youth was stolen from me but those only interested in creating misery and pain. Don’t fall in the same trap. It’s s a vicious cycle

Hi, thanks a lot for your answer, I'll try with the filters I watch a lot of porn with my computer especially when I'm bored. What's more, I stopped social networking not long ago and I took off my gaming PC to concentrate. I'm getting more and more bored and I'm even less and less motivated for my studies. I felt I needed to talk about it because it's too much for me. In fact, I'm afraid I won't have a girlfriend. I feel I need emotional support in this area and I can't get used to it.

Well, I think going to gym will not make it any better, because gym build up your testosterone even more, which obviously will spike your sex drive. You can go to gym with the aim to find there a possible girlfriend.

  5. Listen to the elders, a wise advice:

You're still young, stay away from PMO while you still can.
This thing is extremely addiction and will steal a lots of years out of your life not to mention the costs it takes for you to quit it which takes years of hard withdrawl symptoms, please stay the hell away from it and stick to the gym with a healthy lifestyle. I hope you take the right choice.

If we were your age we will make a different choice...

Thank you very much for your advice, I'll apply it to the letter. I know it's an addiction and I'm fully aware of it, which is why I really want to stop completely and why I've come to the forum. It's been going on for 2 years now and I'm really going to stop and that's what I'm going to do. It's the first time I've spoken to someone about it and I'm keeping it to myself, so I needed to do that, so thank you and you I'm going to get better at stopping again, thank you for your quick answers.
