I know this is hardly a Success Story...yet.
But I do feel enormous change so far. I can't believe how much work I get done in my office and yet don't leave super late like I did with porn.
I can get into my work in a way I haven't for at least 10 years.
At home I'm spending more time with my wife and kids and getting lots done around the house. I feel like the last few days this is really starting to pay off.
Can't wait to move further away from porn and back on the track of my life that I abandoned over 10 years ago. I feel like the old me.

That's awesome. Your early results inspire me to keep going and give me hope that I can begin to feel good as well. I have had a few streaks before my current one, and during these times, some days I feel on top of the world then other days my mood changes and I feel like I have fallen into a pit of despair. One good thing that seems to remain constant throughout is that I tend to care less what people think of me.

Stay strong and I hope things keep getting better for you!

Inspirational stuff, I'm just coming up to 12 days myself, and things like this inspire you to keep going. Well done :)

That's great david2014. I have read some of your journal in the past, and read that you were a heavy user. So it's fantastic that you have made it to 11 days! All I can say is: don't relapse! You should work on strengthening the bond between you and your family. I hope that one day you can find it in you to tell your wife. I believe she deserves to know. However, now may not be the best time to tell her. Keep focusing on your success and push new boundaries to achieve bigger and better goals! :)

    My regards to you

Thanks. I really was a heavy user. I can't believe how out of control I was. I have an addictive personality in general. I've never tried smoking or drugs because I've always known how addicted I get to everything I do. So after avoiding what most people consider a vice, I get caught up in something I never expected.
It's great to feel like I'm earning my salary at work and not just barely getting by. Of course, 11 days doesn't really make a life change but I know I can keep it going.

A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. Eleven days is a great accomplishment, and only the beginning! Great things are in store for you, and for us all. Thanks for the inspiration!
