Circumcision: Who Is and Who Isn't and does it have anything to do with M?

I'm uncircumcised. Yes, it is genital mutilation anyway you look at it. My girlfriend and I have decided not to circumcise our son if/when we have one. Honestly, a lot of the penis' nerve endings are in the foreskin. This can lead to uncircumcised men to experience more pleasure during masturbation, but circumcised men may also last longer during real sex. Obviously there are exceptions to this rule, but I find that I'm really sensitive when I'm erect, so that probably didn't help in me developing a PM addiction.

Because I'm uncircumcised, this might be completely wrong, but my theory is that since circumcised men have less nerve endings, they may take to masturbation more to help them with real sex, the logic being that more masturbation makes you more sensitive.

How can anyone decide to mutilate his own baby? My only explanation is that fathers, who are circumcised themselves, do not know what they have lost, so they don't know what crime they are doing to their sons.

It has NOTHING to do with "longer staying" - because staypower is a question of training, and you can leran it also with your foreskin, of course. I have learned it, so you can learn it too!

During intercourse, the first "sensation" is the biggest. You just need to make A LITTLE PAUSE ... JUST WAIT AND STAY .. BE KIND WITH YOUR SWEET PARTNER ... And then you continue, and now you can stay as long as you want.

In fact, during hte last year, I sometimes had intercourse where I had no ogasm at all, because I even overdid it ... after about 1 hour, erection goes back anyway.

 

I am Circumcised and it sucks,look up (De-Keratinization)! This is 1st of many processes I am going through to gain sensitivity back. It says the glans are suppose to be shiny and have a bit of moisture. Its dryer then the Sahara desert Since i have been cut for 20yrs, I have a lot of skin built up. DeKeratinization is a slow process but i have somewhat shiny glans and better sensitivity. No PMO is the 2nd process .........NEVER AGAIN!

 

I am circumcised and we decided not to circumcise our son who is now 9. I didn't really think much about mine until I did some reading while our son was a baby. Now I'm kind of pissed about what was taken from me. You always hear that the tip and corona of the glans are the most sensitive parts, but mine are not very sensitive at all (especially the tip). I find the most sensitive place is right along the circumcision scar which just hints at what I'm missing. I'm sure this had some effect on my masturbation technique but I couldn't judge whether it had any influence on frequency.

 

I am intact, and for me, the most delicate and sensitive part is the foreskin itself, especially the top and the small band on top. It is such a great feeling to gently touch it! The glans itself is also very sensible, but in a way that it hurts when I touch it. It can only be "touched" by the vagina during intercourse.

I am feeling for you, you have been robbed from delicate feelings. But probably your parents didn't know better.

 

I have a natural penis. Therefore, not only do I have the exquisite pleasure from gentle stimulation of the 20,000 nerve endings in the foreskin, but my shiny, moist dick head is more sensitive, too. Because the feelings of those with foreskins are even greater than those who have surgically altered penises, maybe that is why I have found masturbation so hard to stop. Of course, because I have a natural penis (with a foreskin), I have no need for artificial lubrication.

I think the true explanation is this: The mosaic law in the Hebrew Scriptures dictates that all sons had to be circumcised 7 days from birth. This was to be a physical sign that the Israelites were different, that they worshipped the true God. Now when Jesus came and abolished the mosaic law and set up Christianity, the Jews were the first that were preached to. They responded first. We can see in the New Testament that many converted Jews held onto parts of the mosaic law. One such law was circumcision. The older men of that congregation of early Christianity got together and made the final decision that it was NOT required of Christians to be circumcised. It was a choice. Many nominations through the years have even denounced it.

I think the tradition still survived though. Many circumcised men live in America where it is tradition. Why it is here specifically, (The Midwest and South are most common) I do not know. I myself am, and I live in the Midwest. I can guess that maybe Puritan influence plays a part.

 

I am circumcised. I noticed I used to have a lot of scar tissue when I masturbated frequently. It looks like my penis has lost weight. All the masturbation caused my penis to get girth.

I don't see any problem with me being cut. I am a Catholic, and I read in the Bible that the males had to be circumcised. I honestly don't have any reason to regret that.

I don't think it's that big of a deal honestly. Apparently they botched mine so I got a weird looking penis. Lol.

 

I am Jewish, so I was circumcised for religious reasons. As were my brothers, my father, my grandfather and so on. None of them seem to have suffered any negative effects from it.

To circumcise or not to is just a decision we make for our children to improve their quality of life. For a long time it was believed to be healthier to be circumcised, i.e, less chance of infection. Now the pendulum has swung back the other way.

If I ever have a son, I will have him circumcised in the time honored tradition of my people and my religion, with no regrets.

BTW, the head of my penis is exquisitely sensitive.

What Catholic reasons are there to circumcise? The New Testament says that circumcision is not necessary.

 

I think you're right. I did a little research on it, and found that being baptized replaces the need for circumcision.

I'm jewish, so circumcised from religious reasons.
I cannot say whether it affected my sexual pleasure or not because i don't have a subjective feeling of what it is like to be uncircumcised.
On a different note my personal opinion about it is that it is an unjust act that is done on a helpless infant. I think that penile (or vaginal for that matter) mutilation out of religious reasons is a little barbaric by nature and as a secular person i have no intention of doing it to my future child.
