    Hi
My name is Logan. I am 22 years old.
I have been trying to quit my sex addiction on my own for a little over a year now. I've had two stretches of making it 3 months + but if I'm honest I usually only make it 1 month.

After my latest relapse I looked online for further help and I found this site. I am so thankful for this site, to be able to have help from people who understand this addiction and how damaging it can be to a life.
I feel so much shame after relapsing and anger that I let these addictive urges over power me. They have derailed my life time and again and put me in such terribly depressed states throughout my life.

I am tired of not being able to see and love the beautiful feminity expressing in the woman I am fortunate enough to encounter in my life because my addicted mind only sees an object to satisfy my urges.

I have tasted what is like to be fully free of this addiction but I am ready to put it to rest for good. I ready to live the life this addiction has riped me from on so many occasions.
I thank anyone who has taken the time to read this and to the community as a whole for being here to help me through this.

Thank you thank you thank you

    Welcome to Your New Beginning.

This is YOUR recovery and you must own it. You may be familiar with other addiction recovery programs. The first 90 days of these programs require meeting everyday for the first 90 days of recovery. I suggest visiting and contributing to NoFap each of your first 90 days. Glean wisdom from the strong, encourage the new, and be wary of those who are negative and make excuses. Add the words of your journey to those of others and help create this wonderful narrative of transformation. I have made my NoFap time a replacement for all web surfing and social media. Be wary of depending on technology like counters and web filters. Understand that the battle is between your ears more so than between your legs. Each time you are tempted to go to that foul place, you must remember the man you are working to become, and then choose to be in control. Do not allow porn to steal another second of your life.

    Invictus
    William Ernest Henley, 1849 - 1903
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
    For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
    Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul

    Be Strong my Friend.

Welcome to the NoFap community Mr.Friend  and I hope you find these tips helpful.
    • Do not touch your penis unless you are peeing or washing it - no exceptions.
    • Do not use porn (in any form), do not masturbate or cum - called hard mode.
    • Remove sexual thoughts and images from your mind, completely/instantaneously.
    • When weakening from temptation get up and do something: for example, exercise.
    • Find a strict Accountability Partner, the best would be someone you know and trust. o_O
Also check The Glossary (above) for the words, phrases and abbreviations we use here.
