Is there any kind of online group/kik for this? I'm going through the 90 days and would love to talk to some guys who are going through/have gone through similar stuff. I'm 27/yo M in serious relationship. Thanks!
I think this is a great idea. We SOs of addicts have benifited from a private group. See if other men in relationships are interested, maybe message or tag them, and then ask a mod to form the group. I'll tag a few off the top of my head. @Ikindaknew, @i_wanna_get_better1, @Chefbass, @Littledemon, @Ted Martin,
thanks fupornwife for tagging me here. any support is welcome. anything I can help I will. I'm in 100 percent.
That's a great idea, I would be very very interested in joining. The forums are full of guys just doing this for PIED and not for love. This journey has to be about learning to love your self and the opposite (or same) sex in a healthy way. I would love to talk to some guys who adore their spouses and want to heal their relationship.
Hi, I wouldn't mind joining if the group is formed. One of the main reasons I'm doing this is to try and build a better, more dedicated relationship with my wife.
Ok, so what this takes is someone or, better, two or three someones, willing to spearhead this. All you need to do is, 1. Come up with a name. 2. Message a mod and request the group be formed. 3. Serve as group owners, which really only means approving requests to join and possibly inviting people to join. 4. In the begining, when it was small, I also tried to post discussion questions so the group was active. If you guys want this, someone has to step up.
Im interested in joining a group for men in relationships. Ive been with my partner for 3 yrs and told her 5 months ago about my rebot & pmo habit. We have a 9 month old daughter. Support & connection from guys in similar situations would be great.
Hi, Just wanted to say that I thought starting a group for men in relationships is a great idea! the support group for SO's is excellent. As well, I wanted to contribute a resource I found that I thought was chalked full of fantastic info regarding P & relationship recovery. the speaker is religious; however, what he is discussing comes from his education and is scientifically based. So, regardless of faith, I think it is very helpful and applicable to all of us in relationships struggling with this addiction. Here is the full playlist, I believe it's a total of 13 clips:
I'm in, and I guess I'm the one to step up to bring this group to life. @matthewmammothrept, can you help me out here? "Relationship support" - "A group for addicts in a relationship"
