Personally, I prefer

 

Depends on the area, if it's next to busy roads or has dangerous wildlife like foxes then no. But if you're in a semi-forested area with little traffic then sure. Just make sure to call back in before 11pm since it will be very dark by then and the risk of getting runover is high. My old housecat last 19 years, never went outside at all. Clever thing, refused to drink from a food bowl and would use the taps instead.

 

Inside cats are the best cats, they are always cozy and rarely attack. My cat was named Lorenzo after a '90s Italian footballer my dad liked since his half of the family are from Italy. Auld boi, I miss him.
