Arrived back home today; had an important chat with my fiancè about recovery and the importance of sincerity, praying for the will to eradicate this addiction.

@Muha22 I’m interested to know what benefits you believe porn offers, I can’t think of a single benefit compared to a healthy relationship.

Day 1: A Day at the Cinema

The first full day of this experiment went well. I made sure to stay well away from home most of the day. I went out after eating breakfast and stayed out till I had to come home to do laundry.

Today is Sunday and I have very little to do on Sundays, so it was a good day to experiment with finding different things I could do in town. I took an audiobook out, chatted a bit with a woman working at an Asian food place in the mall, came across a random protest I decided not to pay much mind because I wanted to go to a movie at the theater which is something I almost never do... Admittedly I did a lot of sitting around too, but the main point is I was out and not at the computer.

Potential triggers are everywhere though people... While I was at the theater one of the previews featured a girl experimenting with sex toys. It didn't trigger me much because my libido seems fairly dead today, the preview mostly disgusted me and seemed tasteless.

I picked a totally random movie that I'm not sure I liked that much... I didn't completely hate it, but I don't think I'd watch it again. It was about a gay guy who has hallucinations about his dead parents more or less.

Hobbit: Day 12 of 14

 

1 day - At Buckland, Bilbo gives you Sting - an Elven short-sword made in Gondolin. It will turn blue when porn forces are around.

Day 7. Today was a breeze! I know there is a battle up ahead. But today was wonderful. I hope you all experience a day like I had today. Near total indifference to non-healthy sexual triggers.

Weekend is finally over and already one week free! Feeling pretty good about myself but I mustn't let my guard down. Minor urges are still present and those can very easily escalate if I am not careful.

 

It's time to get back into this challenge. Been gone for far too long. Amazing to know that there is always this place to turn to whenever you need it again good to see y'all

318 days. I was stupid to let someone else's loss/absence from my life be the reason for losing my streak and the most productive years I had.
I envision what I wish to achieve, I remind myself of the things I’ll lose if I trade a few moments of pleasure for real-life rewards. I engage myself in work, form a good routine, read, educate myself and daily check in here to be accountable. I learn from my fellow mates here. These challenges also make things quite easy to understand and not fall in the trap. Stay strong, mate.
