I have been struggling lately to get any clean time. Today is a line in the sand and the time to sort this out.

 

Take it one day at a time and it will become easier.

Checking in. Drive is returning slowly, had a good weekend. Got a new cat, was able to stay strong even working alone from home a couple of days. Feeling hopeful.

 

Checking in. It's funny that when I say to somebody that I don't watch porn and don't masturbate they give me this look of disbelief, like I was saying some utterly crazy stuff. They don't pick up the subject though. It makes me even more motivated. Like I really have this "magical" power that other men don't.

 

Vacation is over. I had 3 weeks off and, understandably, I lost my routine. My routine helped me a lot with staying on track, so I'm glad I can get back to it now. I have gamed a little, which I said I wouldn't do. But I have reconciled with myself, I allow myself to play games when I'm on vacation. I have 8 weeks off a year which are clearly separated from work weeks, so I think I can allow myself this without getting on the slippery slope of self indulgence that eventually leads to porn.

Thanks! I will keep going. I have been here before a few times. I feel this time is very different though. I have structured my life in a way that it's not really an option anymore to watch porn.

 

68 days: checkin in. Without PMO a few things stand out, which I'm not satisfied with (used to blurr those issues with PMO): with work, meeting my needs, realizing my potential and ambitions. It's scary how many things you see when "sober", but I feel I have to do that in order to quit for good. Better to start working on that, then to shove it under the rug and forget.

 

but we can find things that work for us for sure. having a 4 day stretch of no p feels great. I'm going to keep at this. even if i get to a few times a week and move forward.
