The films you loved didn't have to come out in 2019, but just ones you got to watch last year. It'd also help if you could give a brief explanation of the film in case anyone wants to watch it! I'll start: 1. Superbad (2007) - Three lame teenagers try and get alcohol for a party to get with the girls of their dreams. 2. Joker (2019) - A must watch that details the slow descent of an unstable man. 3. Her (2013) - The story of a sensitive man who falls in love with a computer operating. Super cinematic and one of the few romances at the top of my 'all time' movie lists. Warning: EXTREMELY SEXUAL AT TIMES
I’ll double the top 3: - Avengers: Endgame - Spider-Man: Far From Home - Toy Story 4 - Joker - It Chapter Two - Alita: Battle Angel
I really liked the concept of FFH's villain, but the best scene was definitely the post-credit one with the Daily Bugle!
Ah, I never got to see either of these films but really wanted to see Knives Out. I thought Jumanji was a fun film when I watched it with my buds.
1. Fight Club 2. The Secret Life of Walter Mitty 3. Dead Poet's Society 4. The Dark Knight 5. The Dark Knight Rises
You should definitely see Knives Out! I would say it was probably my favorite film of the year. Possibly even including Endgame.
I'm gonna echo some previous posts and say.. 1.) Spiderman Far From Home 2.) Avengers Endgame (although it wasnt as good as i expected and i preffered Infinity War) 3.) Knives Out
Sure, I don't watch documentaries but I do have a couple of series I really enjoyed. 1. Sex Education 2. Daredevil Season 3 (again) Really liked the Dark Knight films but the one with Bane is my favourite (forgot which one it is). Probably because I grew up watching that film like once a day. Never watched any of these films but know that Terminator is a classic so I'll add it to my watchlist
I had to think about this since I don't watch as many movies as I used to. For a second I thought maybe I hadn't seen 3 movies last year but now I remember I have. 1) Wish I Was Here (2014) 2) Arrival (2016) 3) Denial (2016)
I enjoy threads like these Films viewed in 2019: 1) Jojo Rabbit (2019) - Hold your presumptions if you've seen the trailer and were turned off, just know the depiction of you-know-who is the boy's imaginary hype-man. A lot of great underlying themes, not a groundbreaking film, but a hugely enjoyable one. 2) The Hunt (2013) - A thriller that's absolutely horrifying from many angles; Also a strong underlying anti-pornography message. 3) Instant Family (2018) - Honestly a joy to watch. Endearingly made film about a middle-aged couple who unexpectedly find themselves adopting children. All of the children did a great job in their roles, and some semi-realistic scenarios. Sure, it's cheating a little but these two films I watched in 2018 were amazing: 4) My Life as a Zucchini (2016) - Such an endearingly made French stop-motion film with a unique style. Beautiful. Watch it! Only 67 minutes. 5) The Elephant Man (1980) - The most important moral message of this film is a clever part of the film's story structure. We are not so far off from being any different from...
