I am a big advocate for cold showers and ice baths. Cold showers really helped with my self-discipline in all areas of life. Not to mention the physical benefits associated. My next goal is to get my own ice bath and take them before a workout. i have heard the neuroeperepherine release can increase your strength and endurance significantly if you train within 45 minutes of the cold shower / ice bath
I tried a cold bath by starting with a warm one, then slowly cooling down the water by draining and filling up with cold water. No ice involved. At some point the toe tendons inside my feet started to freak out, which did really hurt. I'm unsure what caused this.
