Great job! You shoud start counting from 5 downwards every time you have an impulse to do something - such as get up without snoozing, studying, exercising etc - because if you don't follow that impulse within 5 seconds your brain will kill it.
You are talking about the "5 seconds rule" of Mel Robbins don't you? I like it, i watched videos about it, it works for me too.
Yes, Mel Robbins 5s rule. @MASTER MONK it is not the counting that helps - it is your decision to start doing what you had an impulse to do after you count to 5. Imagine NASA rocket - 543210 and off it goes, it does not stay in place and says well I'm too lazy today to fly to space. Just do it, no lazy talk here please. You're in the army now.
