I have been addicted to porn since I was 19, now I'm 39 and I noticed I can go without fapping for more then 100 days as I have did before but I just need to see a few porn clips a week.
And other way around doesn't work, not watching porn but fapping once a week, I still go back to porn.
So I decided to allow myself to watch porn a few times.

This is the kind of frame of mind you need to abandon. You don’t need porn at all, you crave it. Learning the difference is critical. You’re an addict. Saying you need porn is the same as an alcoholic saying he needs to have a drink. You’re letting the addiction control you instead of you controlling the addiction. At the end of the day the decision is yours and it is up to you to take the initiative to stop being dependent on porn. But I think we both know what the right decision would be, regardless of whether you choose it or not...

I have failed to get over this problem many times, I can quit nicotine and caffeine easily but quitting porn has the worst withdrawals. No emotions and 24/7 anxiety for weeks, never have got over the "flatline".

  7. I may be in the same boat, but it's too early to say, at least regarding the flatline. Have you reached out to a therapist for help? I am wondering if there is more to it than the flatline. Is something else feeding your anxiety? Finances? Family? Unresolved work issues? I hope you are able to rid yourself of these anxieties, friend. Stay strong and don't quit.

Getting away from my daily habit of PMO has changed my life already. I found I had PIED and DE when I met my first and current partner. 6 months ago I was unemployed and socially excluded, not interested in doing anything. Now I have a job I'm really happy with, I am eating healthier, exercising, spending more time with my girlfriend and friends (and looking forward to that, which wasn't the case for a long time) etc. We also moved in together.

I still have some minor issues in the bedroom but going from ED to DE to orgasming too fast with a condom on, I can proudly say I have come a long way!

Watching porn feels like seeing an very good old friend of mine. And now imagine that if you don't even have friends or family that loves you.
