hey guys my names Daniel, I’m 24 years old and for the last 11 years I’ve had an addiction to porn. Over 3 years ago I met the girl of my dreams and we fell in love. Before I met my partner I had been single all my teen life. I I watched porn for the first time when I was 13, I watched a lot of porn almost daily and sometimes multiple times a day. As I got older the amount increased and the content got more specific and sometimes extreme. I was sexually active all those years as well and had multiple sexual partners over the years. Porn wasn’t affecting my life in any negative ways so I never thought it was a problem until I met My girlfriend. I’ve used porn on the side the whole time I’ve been with her. I watched it a lot and even rejected sexual advances from my partner at times. She caught me for the first time last August, after promising to change and not watch porn anymore see gave me another chance. Since then she’s caught me another 5 times, the last was 3 days ago. I can’t believe she hasn’t left me by now. I can’t be believe the pain I’ve caused her, I’ve destroyed the trust between us and it kills me, she spends all her time stressing constantly searching through my accounts ect. I don’t want her to feel like this!! she is the best thing to ever happen to me. This is my last chance to get rid of porn, so I don’t lose my soulmate. I would like to do a reboot challenge but I’m not sure where to start? Does anyone have a format or plan written out that they have used? Including challenges so I can get and idea on how to go about it all.. I want to save my relationship and grow old with her. IM READY TO DO THIS! Thanks guys, I hope you can help.
Hey buddy, welcome to the forums! I'm happy to see you are considering giving up porn because you want to have a healthy relationship with your girl First of all, you should definitely check out the Rebooting in a Relationship section, the stories out there will help you set on your goals. Also, try journalling - there are sections dedicated to age categories - since journalling can be a form of accountability. Good luck in your relationship!
Thanks for the support pal, I’ll check out those sections for sure. I like the journal idea, I’ll definitely be doing that. Cheers jwitcher appreciate your response to my thread
Gl bro, some advice I got over time: stay busy with something, dont just lay around not doing anything. If u get urges, go away from electronics/devices, take some fresh air. Im currently wearing a band on my arm to keep my goal in mind, maybe that'd help Meditating also helps Maybe, talk to ur girl bout it. U know like the daily journal idea. Since its for her, talking to her about it would probably help out the both of u (i also read it builds trust but idk lol im a yung boi afterall)
@niceguy97 Hey dude, cheers for the advice , will definitely help me get through my reboot. If you got any more advice let me know, The more I know the easier it will be Talk soon

I dont hv any advice on my mind rn except for something that has helped me stay on track: Craving is basically the addiction leaving the body, so if u get a craving, be happy, ur improving.
