Luckily brother, when we all hopefully get married, we will be prepared for everything for our kids! We are one step further than those who unfortunately does it.

Made me a sex addict. i thought sex is the only joy of life. i'd read porn stories in the office. jack off in office washroom.
made a sexual move at a colleague.
had a nervous breakdown. quit my job. lost friends. anger issues. repetitive sexual acting out. could've been beaten up a few times.
lost confidence. like a broken spine.

Porn didn't ruin my life, maybe (cinically speaking) that was the problem. I'm still functional while fapping. I still have friends around me and I do not depend on giving my 110% each day to survive. This might be a big factor playing on my lack of discipline and motivation.

However, PMO does affect me in some places I find particularly important. When rebooting these improve:

1 - Firstly: my sexuality (not orientation but sexual drive), while abstaining I am more confident towards girls and feel desire to have an intimate relationship with them.
2 - my discipline improves while on NoFap, and I can start to do things I really want to do but lack the willpower to do (my "tension" threshhold goes upward and I can focus on things for longer without feeling exhausted)
3 - I improve on other addictions as well, like gaming of Internet use. I tend to be more conscious on my mindless browsing habits and spend more time contemplating the real world.
4 - In fourth place, as I said on the last point, I feel more alive. I feel connected to the world.
5 - I feel at peace with the world. I lose fears and anxiety and I just flow.
6 - My intelligence increases? I don't know this yet, I might have to test it, but everytime I go above five days of abstinence my rational skills and my capacity to think skyrockets. I start philosophizing and noticing small details.
7 - Speaking of details, I notice more and more things while on NoFap, I am more open to the world and realize the beauty of things.
8 - My emotions! While abstaining (usually after two weeks) my emotions really change, and I can say for sure I feel present, and more like a human. I feel my creativity unveiling itself and a feeling of inner peace that only increases after that point (and sets around 60 days). Before that (weeks one and two) I become a rollercoaster, and while PMOing I'm just a sack of frustation, anger and stress that luckily can express some emotion and feel happy.

So, as you can tell, PMOing numbs you. This is the best term to use. It makes you feel, behave and see the world as a zombie, as someone who doesn't belong and doesn't have the power to act on it. It makes you feel tired, bored and lazy; when you aren't. It makes you lose focus and avoid taking small steps towards improvement. This might be nonsense to someone who is really sttrugling, but for me every day that passes by in this state is a day I lose, a day in which I do not do anything. It's a nightmare and I'm tired of this constant zombie-like state. I'm losing so much, I'm just an spectator in my own life.
