I was accidentally discovered NoFap approximately 6 days ago. I tought at first that not many people had the same issues that i had, which is porn addiction or something similiar. I couldn't be more grateful that i found NoFap. I've been reading the forums for the past few days, the success stories mainly. It was really awesome that many people succesfully conquer their addiction. I was looking forward to write my own in the future. Time to introduce myself, I am 25 years old from Indonesia, First time I saw porn is when I'm 9 and a year later I discover masturbation ( and tried it ). It's getting worse in Mid School. The time I realize I had a porn addiction is when I hit 14, I watched porn and masturbate everyday, probably miss couple of days, for the past 11 years. I had a girlfriends along that period of time, but it doesn't help with my addiction at all. I had no intention on getting into relationship for the past 4 years because of this. Mind to tell you, that having sex before marriage is a taboo in my country. So, I tought that this ( PMO ) was good because It kept me away from having random sex. But it wasn't, I just kept making that excuses to myself, over and over again. Just to justify my addiction. It also poisoned my subconscious mind in general. Everytime I see a girl, the only thing that crossed my mind Is having sex with them. Most of my toughts are occupied with this. It's not that I'm a pervert, I don't hit on every women I met, I don't cat-call them either. It just felt like I degrading them in a way. I tried to fought it several times, but It failed. Again and again. I kept coming back. Till 6 days ago when the Universe decided to show me NoFap, This time I fought back with all my heart. I decided to start my journey 4 days ago, I'm on my 4th day now. Decided to join the forums few minutes ago. All of them success stories was really inspirational to me. All that urge suddenly dissappears when I read them. I want to change my reality. See the beauty in the world. Live the life to the fullest. I am very grateful to whomever create this site, to the members who shared their success stories. You guys made a big impact in my life. Bless you all folks !

Create yourself a journal on here where you can share your struggles and get support as the urges come. Find accountability partners that help keep you on the path. It is a journey. Glad to see that you have found the beginning of the path. YOU CAN DO IT!!!
