No one puts a gun to your head and makes you relapse. If you want it you will do it and if you don’t you will watch porn again. No excuses.
if i recall someone in this forum called this "chaser Effect" clean your pc/mobile phone history clean ur self clean ur room most importanly stop makin excuses and start again
It’s not even about willpower it’s about your mindset. If you simply never want to pmo ever again it will be effortless
There is too much emphasis on the counter. When people fail they have to reset it all the way to zero. It’s like everything is thrown away so they say f* it I am watching a ton of adult material. A healthier way when you relapse is to make a goal of no more than 2 or 3 relapses per year or whatever is suitable for you
I disagree. You are confusing the purpose of the counter with the rationalization of the porn addicted mind. The counter is not a representation of where you are in your reboot per se. The counter simply records how many days have elapsed since you last acted against your chosen criterion (in your case: porn) or criteria (in my case: porn, or masturbation or orgasm). "Everything is thrown away so they say f* it I am watching a ton of adult material." That is a rationalization! It is very inaccurate. It is a distortion or a misinterpretation of what the counter means. It is your addicted brain giving you permission to repeat the same behaviour over and over again.
