In Christian circles, you might hear many people complain about how God made sexuality such an intrinsic part of human nature. "It's such a cause of temptation!" "If it's so hard to control, why did He give us this in the first place?" It's not a curse or an inconvenience, folks, it's a gift. The Word is very clear on that point. We're not here to fight against ourselves or the good things that have been given us, rather, we must fight against abusing and misplacing our bodies and privileges. Peace.

Thanks man, I've been struggling with that today... I thought too, whatever we fight, we give power to. It's hard to let go and trust that God can guide and use my sexuality the way it is meant to be used

@Mikewing I know what you mean. Letting go of control can be a very scary thing, but He knows what's best for us in the end. And you don't need to be afraid, because you've got Jesus in your corner!

https://dailyverses.net/trust Trust in the Lord, I know its tough, I struggle with this as well and I don't think I trust in Him nearly as much as I should. Try to open your heart to the Lord and trust Him with the rest.
