why not use an adult filter instead of blocking whole google? and you can make someone have access to your browsing history as well, if you trust someone from your family or an accountability partner

Because some stuff still leaks through on google. If you want to block everything porn on the internet, just disconnect your WiFi. I have found ways around most of my filters. The problem is that no filter actually works on my phone. I can always get around it.

@frogs2345 may be you're right, i have no experience with adult filters when i stopped watching porn cause i didnt need it (i had enough reasons to not go back to it and the main one is that i was gonna lose my GF if i didn't stop), so i use it now to block stuff that i dont want to see not to prevent me from looking up stuff

Filters always fail and they let you keep the issue in the dark. This is why I personally use and recommend accountability software instead. A very helpful tool!

Just make sure you have serious accountability partners. I have Covenant eyes, but my APs don't hold me accountable for it.

@frogs2345 You need better accountability partners. Consider finding other ones on here.

I asked my dad to hold me accountable to it. My only problem with online APs is that a lot of the time nobody is serious enough with me and at some point we both stop messaging.
