Can someone clarify the rules to me.

In the 'Rules' mentioned in the pinned post on top, it says "....you advance up a level, whether you have relapsed during that period, or not." What does that mean? You keep climbing regardless of you relapsing or not?

Also, "Once every 30 days, however, climbers will encounter a randomly-selected challenge." And the thing about having a certain number of days to beat the challenge? What does it mean by 'randomly selected'?

Looking forward to anyone who can explain the rules to me.
