I don't the person @Kevoya .. a humble request.. see things in a bigger picture. We all have degraded ourself thru this addiction. Be humble and see things as energy and physical manifestation. appreciate to force behind it.

I will start to practice yoga and meditate at least 2 times a day to start off. I think I would need to find a temple so I can meet other Hindus.

Hinduism says there are different paths to salvation.Thats why in hinduism you have so many gods. So you can practise hindusim even without converting. Hinduism is a way of life with focus on finding the truth about life and universe.

@SaveTheSeedofLife "Brahman" on the other hand is like the God you believe in, omnipotent, omnipresent and indescribable. It or he or she is everything, good and bad. For purposes of theory Brahman is described as Sat-chit-ananda - knowledge-existence-bliss

We have knowledge to lead a good life, work towards finding the meaning of existence, finally bliss. There is nobody to bless you from above ....

@SaveTheSeedofLife but when elders bless younger people it is common to say, by the grace of (insert chosen deity) may you be successful, long living and healthy etc

@SaveTheSeedofLife Brother I recommend if you really want to see the actual reality, search autobiography of a yogi on YouTube, it will change your life. And also if you want to understand about hindu practices search Jay Lakhani hinduAcademy on YouTube. These two things will change everything.
