I am back again. I got bored during Covid and hooked on porn again. I added to that the habit of getting drunk every night. After about six months of that, I found I couldn't quit either one. Had a beer with a Brother Knight on Friday, told him it was my last one for a while and decided to drink my last two at home and then not buy any more. I did that, and have not had a drink for 48 hours. I went to Mass this morning and decided to quit porn again, too. So here I am again.

Welcome Chinaman. Since you've been here before you know you have brothers and sisters who want to help. I will pray for you and I recommend spending time in the Word of God. While it is not formally a Sacrament, it is the most powerful means of grace I have ever found.

Thanks everyone for letting me know you're here. Had a busy, good day today. I am going to bed in a few minutes. No booze, no porn. That's three days without a drink and one day without a wank. Last night I fell asleep about three and a half mysteries into a rosary. I plan to do that again.

I hope you mean you play to san a Rosary again, not to fall asleep three and a half mysteries through! Regardless, good on you for making these commitments. Mary Full of Grace is so happy to take care of you as her son. You've got another Brother Knight here in me too, so don't be a stranger.

Fair comment, Templar, but honestly, I only made it two mysteries in the second night. Last night I was too distracted watching the election results. Anyway, tonight I will start the Rosary again, and even if I only get one decade in, at least it is better than anything else I could be doing in my bed in the dark. Meditating about Our Lady is better than just thinking about "ladies" amiright? Nevertheless, on the weekend I will have a better chance to pray in the morning, when I am awake.
