Its been a great day 29! Its funny how things have changed since ive started this journey. Ive gotten to know a part of myself i nether thought even existed. During the past few weeks ive gone through all the motions and emotions we read about all over this forum, ive had the mood swings, the sad and depro moments, the invincibility complex, the humble moments etc etc...

Today I can stand tall, no longer a slave to myself and to porn and masturbation and the life not glorifying God. Ive had a complete turn around in my faith which i believe is the cause of my success thus far in nofap. Its so easy in this life to seek your own glory and meaning to life outside yourself in the world we live in. This is also my story, as a young boy, curious and a little stupid i discovered the darker side of the internet, and what started out as just "fun" quickly turned into a monster that caged me and who i had to keep alive for almost 16 years!

Today im out of that cage for 29 days, a small victory, but also the start of something great and wonderful! Just before starting on this post i finally found and deleted all the porn ive so secretly hidden on my computer... This is freedom!

The amazing thing that changed in me is that in stead of desiring and obsessing over the two dimensional intimacy of porn which led to hours of masturbation and later twisted sexual identity, i have a new intimacy that (up to now) can only be satisfied and sustained by prayer and deep study of the Word.

For the first time in years i feel that in stead of looking down to my PC and privates... i can look up ans see the wonder of creation and how we are all led on a wonderful path by Him who saves, rescues, restores and gives a new life. Im excited for what is to come, the good and bad, the easy and difficult and also to share it with you guys knowing that every one has his own struggle but also that we all have the one and true Savior!
