Psalm 93.3-4 (MSG)
Sea storms are up, GOD,
Sea storms wild and roaring,
Sea storms with thunderous breakers.
Stronger than wild sea storms,
Mightier than sea-storm breakers,
Mighty GOD rules from High Heaven.
May we all remember Who is the one that calls out to the winds and sea and they do what He tells them! (Luke 8.25). I know I need to trust Him more.

Trust takes time. It can be very difficult for addicts to develop it with others. God is patient and willing. Keep showing up and let the trust between you and him grow. if you do not stop returning to him, the day will come when trust blooms in your heart, you embrace his identity for you, and you give him care and control of everything. On that day, the burden of sin will fall from your back and you will know the enduring peace that passes understanding. It is a gift only the Spirit can give. It is worth pursuing at all costs!
