Hi all,
I am new to this site and also this group. I am not into gym but interested into jogging and long distance running. My long term goal is to run a half marathon after 6 months.Do wish me luck and I would like tips from any long distance runners out here.

I like running too. My advice on the running thing is to find a good training plan like you might get from runtastic, runner’s world, or freeletics and follow it closely. A half marathon is a good, long distance. If you are in ok shape, you can run it successfully without a plan (and with less than optimal running training). The plan you have will then be to be sore the next couple days, but you’ll get through it just fine. The better choice is to find a training plan and stick to it. Good luck with your training.
