He means if you tell someone you won't do something and then do it anyway, no one will believe you about the things you say will do. Your word is your bond kind of thing.

I mean if I can't say "NO" to something then saying "YES" has no value. I struggle with pornography and can't seem to say "NO". So my "YES" is just as powerless.

Jesus taught let your YES be YES and your NO be NO - everything else is deception and beguilement and vanity from the Adversary.

This teaching empowers us and enlightens us. If I can't say "NO" to addiction then the "YES" is just more addiction.

At the moment my "YES" is to posting my truth here. Even failing to stop watching porn my YES (to being here) still has value. That YES is an honest YES.

And I say YES to being honest and YES to encouraging all others no matter what. I'm here for the fight. YES to the struggle.
