Hi guys. Today was my 51th day but i relapsed. My last record was31 so it's not that bad. I'm going to start again from tomorrow.
It has to happen someday. You can't spend your whole life depriving yourself from all pleasures. Sure you don't want to drink alcohol because it makes you feel bad afterwards but that won't keep you from getting wasted at special occasions.
Post Acute Withdrawal Symptom. Just because your major issues are resolved in around 90 days, doesn't mean they all are. https://www.yourbrainonporn.com/does-post-acute-withdrawal-syndrome-paws-occur-porn-addiction
Does that depend on how long you've done PMO for? Coz if u done it longer than it will take longer to recover but if u done it less then is it quicker to recover?
Good luck but don't focus on days! I made the same mistake. it's not about how many days you can last till you eventually relapse, it's about never going back to your old habits till they are gone forever!
It dose! Yesturday i thought i'm loseing something by quiting porn. Something in my head was just saying porn is pure gold! And my dick is too short(12 cm but without my pubic fats it would be 14cm)to please a girl oneday! So i was triggered but it was not that strong to force me. It was my choice to try it one more time & you know what? It felt like nothing. The problem is i haven't tried sex yet to know the difference between. & by the way I know imam al-qazali & he was from my country.
The references do not say. I could see an argument that the longer it was part of your life, then the longer it will be a lingering problem. That reference says complete recovery can take more than 5 years. But one will feel much better earlier than that.
Congrats on the 50 days Trooper! It's all about the journey not the Set backs bro. You're doing great
We were PMOing for a reason. It gave us some sort of pleasure. That doesn't necessarily just go away. A lot of folks, myself included, were using PMO to fill some sort of hole in us. We have to work on that underlying issue. And even if we are working on it the issue doesn't necessarily just vanish or vanish forever. It can, and usually does, pop up later. Life is a crooked line journey. Also it is way too easy to PMO. All you need is yourself, which you always have with you, and something connected to the internet.
