Get your kundalini energy flowing - a lot of times I struggled with wanting to relapse and needed to reboot - how to do so, stretch your groin. Upward dog and child's pose or cobra / cat do the trick, try downward dog too - get the blood flowing to your lower extremities, without fapping! Also get a stool, put a pillow or folded towel on it and place it under your sacrum - you will stretch your groin and stomach muscles - to feel open strong and healthy - couple this with some weight lifting, pushups and cold showers and you're good to go - you'll continue to have the urge to fap - just do some quiet stretching or weight lifting until your body feels exercised and rested.
Absolutely right Dude! I started doing Yoga 4 weeks ago and it really helped me. It also helps to focus on who you are and who you want to be, which also indirectly prevents relapsing!
Do you have a routine or some poses you do? Do you do new things each time? Where do you get your info?
I joined a yoga club here in Germany. It´s not just "fitness yoga", it´s called Hatha Yoga and we get new reading stuff every week. So I just have homepages on german, which I think would not really help you. I have no daily routine yet, but working on that. Have you ever searched for a good yoga book on Amazon?
And I forgot: My yoga master said, that you have to do a warmup everytime before you start with Asanas.
There are so much informations about Yoga in german, I´m sure you will find good stuff in english, too! Really want to help you dude, but thats difficult :/
Yoga is gradual process - so I recommend consistency above all else. Sometimes I'm so lazy I'll do 10 seconds of yoga and call it a routine LOL!
There is a category is Asana known as hip openers that are very useful in brining healthy energy into the groin area, I also recommend upward dog, downward dog and child's pose. Those three will stimulate your hamstrings as well as your pelvic region. Just do those three one to the next a couple times in the morning for a quick and effective routine. If you want to do more advanced yoga, I recommend building a simple and CONSISTENT routine in order to prep your body.
In that case I'll do tree pose on both legs, I enjoy that pose because it integrates the entire body and mind through balance. Work on that one and downward dog to ground you.
If I feel like a want to build a groove, I'll do the same routine every time - if I feel like something new I will do a different pose. Today for instance I wanted to go further so I worked with a DVD with Rodney Yee and did three 20 minute sessions. I recommend purchasing a DVD if you have the money or signing up for a local class. If you find a good yoga teacher they can also teach you the spirit of yoga rather than just the moves. Of course not every certified yoga teacher has mastered the spirit of yoga, which can be very challenging at times. Still its fun to workout with a group. There are many websites online with lists and descriptions of all the different yoga poses. Many of them are of women and if thats a trigger for you then just use this website http://www.menshealth.com/fitness/yoga-basics/forward-fold/slide/5 .You can also purchase a book called Yoga Anatomy that goes into more detail as to how it all works. First and foremost I would just commit to a daily routine of a couple of simple poses that work for you to build your foundation. After about a month of that I would look into going further. This is very helpful as it discusses all 8 limbs of yoga http://www.yogajournal.com/practice/the-eight-limbs The physical poses are one of the 8, including special breathing, meditation and restraint
Lol no worries brother, I've been reading a little bit of this https://www.amazon.com/Light-Yoga-Sutras-Patanjali-Iyengar/dp/0007145160
Not for long I did it for a month then stopped and now getting back to it. I sit a lot due to studying and yoga is really good to release tension and to stretch.
There is a oneness of body and mind, that is why masturbation is so harmful, it conditions your mind to be self satisfying rather than selfless, yoga is designed to help us overcome ourselves, as a student myself I find that after doing yoga and prayer (Nam Myoho Renge Kyo) I can focus better
It really helps me with all my mental health problems including noPMO. I wish, I would checked earlier the extreme benefit of Yoga.
Any hot chicks at Yoga lessons? But seriously, I tried it too but I was the only man there and felt uncomfortable so I didn't come back after a 4 lessons.
What mental health problems? I encourage you to study Buddhism as well as Yoga. And experiment with prayer. I think the Eastern approach is most effective in developing strong mental and spiritual wellbeing.
