NoFap in My Teens

    I sure wish NoFap was around when I was in my teens. It would have saved me years and years of wastefulness and future pain. At least I found NoFap when I did.

    Better late than never. I consider myself very lucky that I found out about it when I needed it the most. :)

    I agree. I consider myself lucky as well, otherwise I would probably be going through the divorce process by now or close to it.

    You assume this. Your teen self very well could have also ignored this resource had it been available. Another possibility is your teen self might have used the resource and stopped PMO, but neglected to get to the root of your problem thus causing you to transfer your addictive behavior to something else like drugs, food, etc. Who knows had you found Nofap in your teens you might not have met your wife or stayed with her, or married her or grown to appreciate her.

    Regardless I find that these "I wish" thoughts do nothing but diminish the good that's in our lives right now.

    That is awesome that you found this community at a younger age and want to make positive changes in your life. It is well worth it.

    I here you on this. When I say that I wish I had found NoFap in my teens, I mean it so that my wife and I are together and we have our child together, but didn't go through all of that pain the she didn't deserve to go through. I feel very bad that I drug @ILoathePwife through the very depths of hell and back more than once during that time. I am grateful that we are still together and that I found NoFap when I did so we can grow and heal together and continue having a future together. I think it probably comes down to all of the wasted time that I spent staring at the computer screen. Thank you for your input. And you are very right regarding that the addiction could have turned to something else.

    I agree. I wish so too. I have tended to wish it had at least been around seven years ago when you told me for the first time. We had no idea what we were doing!

    I also see no reason not to wish it had been available earlier. Sometimes I wish we'd win the lottery but it doesn't diminish the good we have in our lives without tons of money. I get that it could, but it doesn't.

    When I first started NoFap , I would always have thoughts like this . But as time went on, I just started being appreciative that I actually found this ( Not saying your not appreciative ) . Now, I don't have these thoughts anymore and I'm so happy with my life right now .
