hi everybody brain fog, fatigue wont go away after 4 month,is it normal? i also have low vit d3 level(9)
How do you know what brain fog is? Have you had it gone before? For me, it usually stays for a few hours after a relapse, but for some people it's definitely more than a few days.
Perhaps you have a health issue as well? Have you considered alternative medicine? It helped me and my daughter when traditional medicine had no idea how to help us. Try googling holistic doctor and your city. Healing touch is one specific therapy I can recommend but you may also benifit from diet changes.
I really believe porn addiction is intertwined with other issues. Adrenal Fatigue, chronic stress, etc. i.e., PMO can be both a cause and a result of other issues. For example, people who have been stuck in a state of stress for a long time can end up with hypoglycemia, which causes brain fog. And being stuck in a state of stress makes us more impulsive, so more difficult to resist urges. And chronic stress leaves you deficient in various hormones and neurotransmitters ..... which can make PMO attractive since it is such a stimulant
makes sense, should i wait longer and give it more time or should i address the adrenals or maybe gut dysbiosis?
May as well work on everything. Do you do lot's of meditation? Let me ask you? Do you tend to have an exaggerated startle response? i.e.... if people come up behind you, do you tend to jump more than other people? If you do, that is a classic sign of sympathetic dominance.....or being wired.
1. How long have you been addicted? 2. Have you had any head injuries? 3. Have you seen a neurologist?
Focus isn't something that comes by itself. It is trained, just like a muscle. Some things that require and improve focus: Doing homework or productive work. Sports. I can't really think of any sport that does not require attention, though some more than others. So do what you enjoy. Medition. As you already do this, keep going. You make your life easier if you do any of those in a group or in a guided environment (say you take a class), because then you are more committed to stay present.
PMO is only one of the problems a person can have. Look for other problems in your life. I've quit PMO, video games, alcohol, etc. All at the same time. Last was PMO, now I'm on day 13. It's getting better every day.
Do you exercise? Exercise is known to improve memory and focus. I know my mind feels more clear and sharp within a few hours after a workout.
Get outside and get fresh air as much as possible. Find cognitively stimulating things to do during the day. Increase your fruit and vegetable intake.
