More attracted to watching sex then actually doing it?

  1. No "ecosystem" like Facebook.

  2. There's a difference between wishing it on people and caring about someone.

  3. You enjoy that as long as it's enjoyable, glad I could give you the experience.

What would someone have to do in order for you to feel like they care about your recovery?

Dopamine isn't bad we release dopamine all the time. Dopamine from porn is bad because the Dopamine wires you to a computer screen whereas it's supposed to wire you to the real natural thing. So no, it's still not the same thing.

Besides porn gives you an unlimited supply of Dopamine. You can't have an unlimited supply of prostitutes/sexworkers unless you are very rich. Even then the amount you will get is limited many people see the same sex workers and have regulars whereas porn is constant novelty always new. So it's not the same thing.

As for those addicted to hookers and escorts. If you are rich which I am not that might be an issue. But again I already admitted the downside is it can waste your money.

  8. You can be more specific, what kind? You obviously seem to enjoy it; since you keep repeating it so what's wrong with wanting you to enjoy it?

  9. I wouldn't know. I've never felt it.

  11. Well we addicts (just speaking for myself and others who identify) suck at expressing emotions and stuff so the experience isn't going to really be that great even if there are things like meetings and stuff, personally I've just kind of come to accept that as par for the course.

That book is a form of therapy that can be done independently. I think you need serious help and that's the most affordable way to get it.

  14. One cannot interact with a printed page.

Do you think there is value in therapy? For your situation, specifically.

  16. I've tried it. Anyone I've seen just gives me platitudes about how only I control my emotions and all that shit. Sort of like saying that if someone punches you, you ought to just stand there and smile while pretending it never happened.

Do you know about the difference between cognitive behavioral therapy and other forms?

Are you interested in learning the difference? You might find it to be very helpful for yourself. Maybe even life changing.
