Thanks @Timber ! Yes, is the best way! I take the words of the apostle Paul when he says "Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me." Philippians 3:12 (NIV) Greetings!
Thanks! And for my 1st official post.... Counter reset. Ugh. I’ve been coasting. Trying to make a major life change by doing nothing different. I am committing to a new way of life and will be figuring out the particulars today and tomorrow.
You’re not the only one @GottaBFree. No relapses but just not feeling like “working it”. Hoping my vacation will spark a renewed interest in the journey. Good luck to you!
Checking in. Had a 2+ week run. And then hit an obstacle in life. Turned to old habits and binged for 3 days. Felt really dumb as the fog of it all wore off. I know those 3 days set me back greatly. But I hope the result of those 3 days will remind me of how much I want to not feel that and help me in the future.
Congratulations brother, a fantastic achievement! well done and keep going strong in the Lord's strength.
Congrats on those 90 days brother! "God is magnificent; He can never be praised enough. There are no boundaries to his greatness." Psalms 145.3 (MSG). May God continue to bless you!
Checking in. My wife and I celebrated our 11th anniversary yesterday. There's no doubt in my mind that God put us together, and focusing on God first then my family, and not my selfishness, has definitely improved things around here. Change is hard though. God has already won the battle, but I need to stay focused on Him.
Congratulations and God bless you, bold0101. I hope you paint the town red and show her how much you love her. You are an inspiration to me.
