Ex, master(borderline challenger) rank 1 jax here on EUW. I quit though. The game sucked the life outta me. (Yeah, I wanted to flex, I know I'm a nuuurd) Runescape, but quit for the same reasons.
United States servers are full of world class players. I translated my main account once and in a few months i arrived to masters. I must say that is not the same meta as other servers, they play macro way different also is like masters on Usa have more creativity and speed, there are specialist of this game. Never go to KR, maybe in the future.
I have only played on EUW against pros(froggen and a lot chinese/koreans whom I forgot), L9 members or just casuals etc. But I'm over that. I realised that the game tends to bring the worst out of people. Getting virtual ranks and being very attached to it... Riot made a great business model! I played thousands of hours, don't get me wrong. I had some great memories. But I put the game behind me now. Gonna put my time into productive things now so I can build myself into a being I like. Video games are fine in moderation, but I can't control myself... Maybe in the far future.
I used to play video games when I was younger. I quit in 2016 and I don't play video games anymore. I've got better things to do with my time than to play with imaginary pixels that won't benefit me physically, mentally, or socially. I love real life!
Yet people go to pubs and clubs, cinemas, watch tv, paint ball, bowling, watch football/basketball, the list goes on. One should point out that recreational activities are all 'wasted time', yet are necessary, with moderation
I know this is a off topic, but, someone considered that videogames sometimes are sexualizing not only young generations but also big dudes?
It's funny. I watched the mortal Kombat 11 gameplay and the females shown all had actual clothes/armor, instead of bikinis. Some people were pissed but I think it makes a lot more sense.
I feel like the only reason anyone would play the sims nowadays is for the adult mods, but maybe that's just me. Sim Ant was fun so was sim city but now it's just not the same for me. Guess I grew out of it.
It’s been several years since I played them but I played the original Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 games for almost ten years.
Any Metal Gear Solid... played'em all over 10 times each except for mgs4, which sucked ass, so I've only played it like 4 times. Ys games. I just started a new playthrough of Memories of Celceta. I'll probably play Lacrimosa of Dana again in a few years. That was one of the most epic games I've ever played.
I was surprised by that as well. I’m sure they will have other costumes as dlc that are more reveling though. I can’t wait for that game!
