Thanks bro same to you I'm just trying to help others out fapping and porn absolutely messes with your hormones
Hi friends I have masturbated alot for the past 5 years. Now im 24. Its been a year that im tryingt to stop pmo but I always relapse. Afer years of fapping, I feel weakness, low self confedence, hairloss and hair thinning, depression weakness in knees. Premature aged.etc My question is can I recover all the harms and damages of fapping at this aged. Please tell me the truth guys honestly.
That chapter in think and grow rich is a great eye opener! I can really relate with abstaining from masturbation. Ever since I stopped, I noticed I become a more dominant live form. It's weird really, it's like you're finally yourself. What you were destined to be. I do believe porn was made to contain the masses just like the news. It's to project insecurity and fear in people. That's why it's also hard to quit, because for some people it's the truth. I am greatful for this forum and for this post. Thank you!!!
Good stuff. That last part you mentioned is worth highlighting. Watching porn basically makes you a literal cuckold since you are watching another man have sex with a woman you desire. Realizing this has really motivated me to quit PMO recently.
Wow thank you, pmo really can screw you up, more than people know. Having that kind of mindset, I wonder what that does to a male in the jungle.
Quite a research. Everyone suffering from PMO should read this. Thank you posting & motivating us for a better improved life. @VirilitySupreme
Arrrrr~~ So so so true. And yet many doctors want us to believe PMO once in a while is good... monetary gain?
@VirilitySupreme So... Sexual intercourse releases a higher amount of prolactin, which helps to regulate the body's output of dopamine and testosterone so as to balance the inherent levels of each, in order to further balance the brains masculine development? Do I have that right? This seems to speak more to youth and adolescent men than grown men, passed their physiological development. I think the "rewiring" of dopamine, the lack of habitual productivity, and the social blockades established by porn addiction are all more compelling reasons to quit PMO. I do not understand how this effects grown men, since testosterone can be maintained after adolescent development by other means (I'm thinking about diet, exercise, and certain lifestyle choices). Also, what is the "clear predetermined goal in hindsight" you mention, after noting the "Art of Sexual Transmutation?" What does that mean? Thanks for the insight.
Hi Ethan, Napoleon Hill’s self-help classic, Think and Grow Rich, is how many individuals first learn about sexual transmutation: “Sex transmutation is simple and easily explained. It means the switching of the mind from thoughts of physical expression, to thoughts of some other nature.” Now, Hill’s definition is a good start, but we can go deeper. Sexual transmutation is the process of converting sexual energy into some other drive, motivation, or energy of a higher order. So basically, for me, that means, when I have the urge to jack off, I should do something much more productive in life, e.g. when I relapsed this morning at work, not even 9:30am, I should have been focusing on smashing out work stuff.
Well, he says: It sounded strange because he wrote "do not spill their seed." It implied that the urge to procreate should only be satisfied by actual procreation. I thought I needed clarity on that. I never liked all that voodoo mind crap. Napoleon Hill could have just said "sexual stagnation ruins creativity and the productive drive," rather than try to paint it with psychological, self-help gloss to make it shiny. The book has very interesting anecdotes, but his analysis of mind philosophy really did put me to sleep. Thanks for clarifying, though.
