Just started out. I have one day without PMO. My situation is I have restless leg syndrome for 19 years and my med for it is Carbidopa levodopa, that is, dopamine. The amount of the dopamine I take is sometimes 1000 mgs daily. Any ideas as to whether that helps or hurts my reboot.
How long have you had the digestion problems? And what are your specific symptoms pertaining to poor digestion? I started having them around the second week of my last hard mode streak and then ended up relapsing on day 48, and I’ve been having them ever since. Never had them before I started that last streak.
Everything is connected in some way and if the juices (chemicals) we are not dispersing get relocated, well, the Universe knows what is needed and where. I know that we are on a spiritual quest here and we will be taken care of in a beautiful way. Today is day 3 for me.
Does not help I'd imagine. Seems like you're going to wind up with some nasty side effects long term from those meds, same will any meds really. One of them is ironically 'movement problems' - Side effects Common side effects include movement problems, and nausea.[1] Most common early side effect is hallucinations, as movement problems manifest 5–10 years after initiation of treatment.[citation needed] More serious side effects include depression, low blood pressure with standing, sudden onset of sleepiness, and the compulsion to gamble, engage in sexual behavior, or other risk-taking behavior.[1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbidopa/levodopa
Oh you are correct. The dopamine gives me the itch to scratch and I have found myself back in the jaws of the dragon, for hours. My wife has suggested that abstinence from PMO and the reboot may actually help relieve the rls. I'm lucky to have her as a true support person. Thank you for your input and support.
Every single one I have !! It’s scary for me cus I got hit with the anxiety attacks first after only 8 days of abstinence. The anxiety is also terrible. I think the intensity of the symptoms is the worst part. I don’t think when normal people say they have anxiety they mean the way we have it. Did you take any meds for the anxiety attacks or did you fight it out? That’s actually the last thing I want to do since I know it heals with time. It sucks for me cus I might have paws and I’m barely 2 months on hardmode
I am on day 18. My head always burns as if I have roasted it. I am not able to concentrate on my studies
So you did not experience any benefits from such a long streak. I have already crossed 90 days but haven't observed too many benefits. Just a mental satisfaction.
A lot of these symptoms are shared iwth other addictions. I when through 2 weeks of PAWS. Durring this time i was experiencing anxiety, no libido, and lots of irrational thoughts. After i went thrpugh it i looked up my symptoms and it is consistant with drug and alcohol addictions. It goes away but can come back from time to time within the first 3 years of being sober.
Yes definitely true. If it is paws the first couple of months are the hardest. The symptoms are more intense and fluctuate a lot.
I fought it out. I never took any medication. Apart from pmo, did you have heavy indulgence or addiction in alcohol, hard drugs, cigarettes, painkillers or pills etc.?
yes I had the same symptoms. Mine was difficulty concentrating, massive procastination, really bad headaches, lathargy, apathy, and anger/moody. It sucked but it does go away!
